Endo Manufacturing has obtained AS9100 (JIS Q 9100)/ISO 9001* certification, an international quality management standard for the aerospace industry. We are now expanding our business into the aerospace field by leveraging our advanced technical skills and quality assurance system developed through the manufacturing of medical device parts. We have established an integrated production system in which all processes are completed in-house, from material procurement to manufacturing process design, mold fabrication, forging, machining, polishing, and inspection. This allows us to provide consistent quality, stable product supply, and flexibility.
Our core forging technology allows us to reduce costs and shorten lead times. Recently, we have also been actively developing forging technologies that will lead to further cost reductions while meeting the high precision required for aircraft applications. Endo Manufacturing will continue contributing to the development of the aerospace industry through these technological innovations and more.

Specification confirmation

We carefully confirm precision requirements and required specifications based on product drawings received from the customer.

Process design

We optimize quality, costs, and delivery time using our integrated design process that covers everything from product shape and material characteristics to processing methods, selection of jigs and equipment, and inspection processes.

Forging

We use near net-shape forging to form shapes very close to those of the final products. By delivering highly complete parts, we can reduce material costs caused by material loss as well as post-process work time, lowering costs, shortening lead time, and improving overall productivity.

Processing

We use molds and jigs designed and fabricated in-house to process complex shapes using three-axis and five-axis processing machines. This allows us to meet the high precision required of aircraft parts.

Polishing

Scratches are the root causes of destruction, and these defects cannot be tolerated in aircraft parts. Our Super Polish process results in extremely low surface roughness, ensuring safety and reliability.

Inspection and quality assurance

We conduct inspections, take records, and made decisions using systems and procedures based on AS9100 (JIS Q 9100)*, an international standard for aerospace quality management systems, including dimensional inspections and visual inspections using devices such as 3D measuring equipment, tensile strength tests, metallographic observations, and hydrogen analysis.
